After dedicating twelve years of her life to her family, Taryn realized it
was time to merge the abilities God has given her with the knowledge and skills she's acquired while managing a household of 5 on a budget.
She understands the need to have things done quickly and accurately.
Some of her experience includes Project Coordinator for East Texas Churches, Annual Hen Party Event Planner since 1999, many years of Event Planning & Coordination experience including Showers, Fundraisers, Holiday Parties, and Wedding Rehearsals, Ceremonies & Receptions. She is a United States Army Reserve Veteran and a Destination Services Consultant for Dwellworks International. Taryn has also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development from The University of Texas at Tyler.

Mikala is a student at The University of Texas in Tyler Texas and is majoring in Public Relations and Marketing. She is an active member in the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, where she is Vice President of Philanthropy and Fraternity Appreciation Events. She has been diligently employed since she was 16 years old, and enjoys working with people. Mikala’s interest in event planning and her love for the business started with a wedding she attended in Dallas. She caught herself not only admiring the beautiful ceremony and reception, but also the details & tasks the planners were attending to throughout the entire event. Mikala was referred to Taryn’s Errands in the summer of 2011. She is glad that Taryn has given her the opportunity to prove herself as an Assistant Event Coordinator, and is determined to do so through hard work, determination, and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Emily is a senior at Stephen F. Austin State University majoring in Hospitality with a focus on Event Planning. She first realized she had a passion for event planning when she served as the social chair for her sorority, Chi Omega. She is energetic and loves working with people in a fast-paced environment. Emily has used her talents at SFA by serving as an orientation leader for 2 years where she welcomed and facilitated events for over 2,000 incoming students and their parents. She hopes to be a successful event planner and is so thankful for the opportunity Taryn has given her to further enhance her knowledge of the hospitality industry.
Beka Bledsoe, Assistant Event Coordinator

Beka is a Junior at Stephen F. Austin State University studying Hospitality Administration, with a focus on Event Planning. She is an active member in Chi Omega sorority, and has served as social chair. Her love for event planning came when she was 14 years old, after attending her cousin's wedding and seeing what a creation and joy it was. Beka started working for Taryn at the beginning of the 2012 Spring semester. While keeping her faith in Jesus Christ and having her family's full support, she is excited about what Taryn’s Errands has in store for her and how she is growing and gaining experience.

Just like her Mom, Sloan has been planning parties since Day 1. Sloan is an honor roll student at Grace Community School and enjoys playing volleyball, singing, acting, and mission work.

Vernon has many years of experience in home repairs, management, and human relations. He is disciplined, detailed and friendly. Vernon's creativity and ability to evaluate the task at hand, enables him to complete the job. Vernon also serves as our Licensed and Ordained Wedding Officiant. He is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University and enjoys spending time with family, serving in his church, and pursuing Biblical studies.
